Well done. While I’ll not jump aboard an Obama love-fest I do believe this author brings many salient points to light. I also appreciate my country’s continual defense of my inalienable right to criticize her leadership. By and large however I appreciate Obama’s course of action even when I dislike his flagrant disregard for transparency -despite his verbal vigil at its importance- and truthfully, my greatest fear politically and economically is how ruinous America will be when Republicans once again lay their devastating, repugnant hands upon her systems. There was a time not so long ago when Americans, regardless of their political stripes, rallied round their president. Once elected, the man who won the White House was no longer viewed as a republican or democrat, but the President of the United States. The oath of office was taken, the wagons were circled around the country’s borders and it was America versus the rest of the world with the president of all the people at the helm.
